Craftsmen Spotlight Video Series

Did you know Sandra Sue Messer started out painting on an everyday household item?

Last week we launched a series on Facebook and YouTube to feature various craftsmen in our fairs. We know so many people come to the fairs in July and October to shop and enjoy art and craft demonstrations. The best part of the experience is probably getting to meet and talk to the artisans themselves. We hope this series will help to highlight the incredible talent of these individual business owners. You may even get to visit a few of their workshops (see video preview below).

We wrote about Bev’s Bags recently; that coincided with the first video in the series which ran on Monday, August 12th. Blog This week’s video features Sue, a self-taught painter (see below).

Just today we shot some photos and video with Johnny Glass at his workshop. He is, incidentally, a glass blower! His company is called Glass by Glass. ()

Our own Bronwyn Blodgett is preparing the video with Johnny to share soon. She shot part of it at the fair in July, and more was shot today.
